 It is exiting and there have been more obstacles into making what appeared to be a simple video, but after all this time the day is finally here, and so is the film! The Film and its Creation Process There are many approaches that were taken when recording this film, but the best approach was probably this one - getting someone to record the scenes for you. I was originally going to add a voice over instead of text, but I figured that my voice... simply wasn't 'professional' enough to not make the film awkward or worse. I also had some issues with the hue, but I did not mind too much, as I already had a good hue from the bad weather that day, and my video was supposed to be filmed on a cloudy day, with little to no motion/camera movement. The production of the film was somewhat smooth. This is the last day in AICE Media Studies class before finally beginning the midterm, I have started the unfinished blogpost for the midterm to have a format ready, and I asked Ms. Gartland a few last questions about the exporting. Exporting to Blogger Exporting to blogger was awkward, I tried to send the film to Ms. Gartland through an email, but it was too big. I attempted to post the video on blogger directly, but it was also too big. I spoke with Ms. Gartland about this, and I came up to the solution of posting the video to YouTube, and then posting the YouTube video (not the link) on blogger, to bypass the file size error. This proved to be successful, although I could not play the video on edit mode, which was awkward as I prefer to keep the posts on edit format until they're ready to be turned in and published. Everything else was now ready, I just had to wait for the midterm day and finish the blogpost.

 The midterm day is just around the corner, so I have had to go back to the rubric and see how many things I did or did not do. I had confusions over a couple of things (such as the mise-en-scene) so I had to email my teacher to double check. So far I feel confident with my work and was beginning to prepare for exporting. I made sure to clarify any confusions I had through the emails and then checked once again the video. Exporting While trying to export, I was not entirely sure where to export the video, so I had to keep this for the next time in class so I can find what to do. Finally, exporting did present some issues, such as constantly changing the quality or cutting out certain parts, after some revising, I was able to get what appeared to be the right format and just left it there before exporting for the next class day.

  Ms. Gartland has been checking up on students this week and asked all remote learners if how we were doing, I told her I was good, finishing up the film for next week, and began making final edits. I have been adjusting the clips and music to make a better time, and I have been replaying the video numerous times to try to fix as many flaws as I possibly could. In addition to, I also ran into a problem where I noticed the file kept saving copies into my computer, so I am stuck with that until the video is uploaded so I can remove all the extra files without running the risk of deleting my work. This week has been rather relaxing, we did run into problems again with getting into contact with the assistant, but asides from, I had no major issues. I got in contact with other classmates as well to make sure we are all aware of what we're doing so I don't miss on anything.

 Christmas break is on the rise, and the perfect day with perfect weather finally appeared, giving me the opportunity to finally film my scenes. I had already filmed one shot in my home for the title flashcard, so that was one out of the three films. Now, all I had to do was contact my friend and try to film the shots. The pandemic had undoubtedly given us some complications, but we were able to get to the location and film things. The first shot was very simple to record as we already had the location in mind. As for the second shot it was more complicated, we had to find a good place that was not just the exact same area that would be nice to see in the video. We ended up deciding to take the next shot in a small bridge, to give the sense of the character thinking to themselves about what to do next. The scenery would also help keeping things calm, foggy, or sad. Finally, the last shot I recorded without any assistance, and this shot would be a transition to the title of the movi...

  Premiere Pro has... been intriguing to work with. I have to say it is very intimidating at first, but I was able to quickly get the hang of it on my own which was surprising. We have had a couple of issues getting to class with our Premiere Pro assistant, so that indirectly harms me and the other remote learners who relied on outside help every now and then, that being said, it was not a major issue. Putting the clips together   Starting Premiere Pro with little to no knowledge almost feels like trying to blindly find something. That being said, it did not really take me longer than an hour to grasp how making a clip works, it was fun importing the different clips and learning how to mess with them to my liking until I felt what I had was long enough, but also short enough to clip out any unwanted scenes or parts of the videos. After enough time and some searching online for assistance on a few last things, I finally had the video ready, and only needed to add music/sounds/a...

 As we are about to start the filming days, I have planned ahead determining factors of how the film will look like. From clothing, angles, personel, etc. Because this film is set during the modern days, it will make the work easier too (clothing). Clothing As already mentioned, clothing will be simple. I'm not going to try to find a costume, as the character in the film is supposed to be a normal person on the edge of breaking mentally. I could probably use somewhat teared clothes, but it would be hard to find something I can afford tearing apart. That being said, anyone with a broken mental state could either be wealthy, poor, or average, so it did not matter as much at the end of the day. Camera angles and Movement     Camera angles were simple to think of as well, I wanted the character to be something the viewers could get to partially learned, so I would want the character to be fully visible, meaning I've gone for hand-held wide-angle shots.
